Ernest Trova "Trovascope" for MOMA, 1974 skittles 6 3/4" w x 5I found one of these several months ago, and will buy others if I find them as I think they're excellent. It is a "Trovascope" designed by artist Ernest Trova (1927 2009) for the Museum of Modern Art in 1974. I think more artists should design kaleidoscopes, but Trova was especially well suited to creating a very graphically satisfying one, with his "falling man" silhouettes lending themselves to all sorts of interesting kaleidoscopic permutations!
